Abstract

Masyarakat merupakan salah satu stakeholder yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan mangrove. Partisipasi masyarakat sebagai pengelola kawasan ekosistem mangrove penting untuk mewujudkan pengelolaan mangrove yang berkelanjutan. Keberadaan kelembagaan yang berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk mendukung hal tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran stakeholders, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat, tingkat keberlanjutan kelembagaan, serta hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dengan tingkat keberlanjutan kelembagaan dalam pengelolaan kawasan ekosistem mangrove. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung data kualitatif sebagai informasi pendukung. Data kuantitatif didapatkan melalui pengisian kuesioner oleh responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode sensus, sementara data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam kepada informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dengan tingkat keberlanjutan kelembagaan dalam pengelolaan kawasan ekosistem mangrove.
